They are interchangable technically. The main problem is the location of the hydraulic line and bleeder screw is different. But besides creative bending of the clutch line, the relocated bleeder screw and clutch line can interfere with the motor mount and sub-frame brace. (FWD slave in an AWD) FWD accepts either slave easily.

This is for a FWD. Notice the bleeder and line are opposite sides.

This is the AWD one. Bleeder and line are adjacent to each other.

Don't forget to remove the restrictors from these before installing.

You would think the bigger bore of the FWD slave would be the better choice....am I right?
