so i took my turbo off to get it port matched to the mani and to clean up other misc loose ends.

i take off the 02 housing and what do i find? an improperly fitting internal wg and a nice fissure inside the turbine housing. the wg was covering only about 2/3 of the port (and doing a shitty job at that)

mind you this is an 8cm exh housing, but i had always wondered why the damn thing was soooo rediculously laggy (like full boost at 5k!) when i had friends with 7cm 20gs making full boost at 3700. it also stumped me as to why it wouldn't really creep, but i guess that sorta makes sense now if there is little to nothing obstructing the wg passage.

my question is this: should i try to find another expensive and probably not very useful 8cm housing? or should i just grab a 7cm. or maybe i'll go "hyrbid" and throw a 6cm on there

i was also debating on having one of the pros on the board port the internal wg passage just to see if it could work, the other route is to just get my 02 dump modified to fit a tial.

anywho thats all i got

thanks dudes

Why not throw a big flapper on and port out the crack as much as possible? I know how much of a cheap ass you are, so I would say that is probably the cheapest option :P
