Best place to scrap aluminum?

I have way too many old wheels laying around and I'd really like to scrap them. Does anyone know of a good place in the cities that will buy my aluminum scrap?

adolphs right down the street from me, best known for taking in catalytic converters they also take a lot of scrap.

I've traded in wheels there before for a good price, plus its like 4-5 blocks from my house.

Make sure it's relatively clean and if you're talking transmissions or cylinder heads that they're completely bare, and you'll get a decent scrap price for them.

I got $20 for a bent 1G Laser AWD wheel from a recycling center in Osseo off 81 (NW of 169).

Thanks. I think I'll give Adolph's a try since that's decently close to my house. Do I need to have the tire off of the wheel?

Re: Best place to scrap aluminum?

I just dropped 4 wheels off at Adolphs on thursday, they paid .90 per pound. Ended up being $100 for the 4 of them.
