Two good reads on the subject of oursoursing.
and by the way, Outsourcing leads to futher elimination of the Middle class. If companies keep outsourcing the amount of jobs they currently do, and the government keeps giving them money for doing it, we will continue to see high unemployment numbers, high taxes, Elimination of the middle class and our country sold off to the highest bidder ending in an overall revolution of the lower over the higher class.
Middle america is already dropping off daily to the lower class while the rich get richer. And no one finds this crazy. Yay, why not give more money to the rich by giving them tax cuts. You guys are rediculous.

First off, have you even read both of those books?
Second, I can't tell if you are for outsourcing or against it. Both of those books seem to be about why outsourcing has happened and what can be done to bring those jobs back to the US.
I swear you were pro-outsourcing so your comment really makes no sense, and none of us ever said anything about giving tax cuts to the wealthy.

If they truly hated the idea of themselves being rich they'd just spread the wealth throughout the lower classes.

They dont hate being rich, but they see a need to give the middle and lower classes a little boost. Same reason they are pledging to give more than half their wealth when they die. (speaking with regard to bill gates.)
When you have that much wealth, a 3% tax hike is not going to put you in the poor house.

Really? You're kidding, right? The reason they don't care is because they've exempted themselves from paying most of their taxes, legally or illegally. You need to separate what people say on the campaign trail and what actually happens in real life. And I guarantee not one of those people you mentioned except for BG is donating any portion of their wealth when they die, so coming up with a blanket statement like you did is blatantly false, and typical of the left wing nutbags.

Re: Outsourcing
I am anti Outsourcing and have never been FOR outsoursing. The arguement in the SB was all of the conservatives (peter, Pete and hughes) saying how Outsoursing was good for our economy. O_o

Wait, what? It wasn't anything like that.
There's a time for needing outsourcing, and that time is now. I agree with them, but it is definitely not a long term solution, which they also said and cited sources backing up what they said.
As an admin I'm asking that you either stop skewing what everyone says to fit your political agenda or you need to stop posting on this forum. Your posts provide no value to this forum and do nothing but stir the pot. It's as if you're purposely trolling and it's getting tiring running in a circle playing a game of words with you.

Re: Outsourcing
Outsourcing isn't going to go away. What has to happen is America needs to adapt and figure out it's next niches are and build around those industries. Issue is China and India have very educated people who bill out very low rates due to the shear number of people in both countries. Those people need jobs, and foreign countries/companies are happy to save the money.
Industries like healthcare, biomedical fields, IT related, anything related to military spending, and some manufacturing sectors are our strong suit currently(I'm sure I'm missing others, but you get the idea). These industries need to be built upon, and other manufacturing sectors need to be exploited in order for the middle class to be built again.
In the end this country needs to work on it's education system from the bottom up. In order to be middle class(generally speaking), you need a certain level of education and drive.. Americans need good institutions as well as the will/drive to work hard again.
I'm not for or against outsourcing, but it's not going to get any better in regards to outsourcing unless the American workers show their value, or industries simply need manpower within the US(if for some reason there is a boom in that industry).

Re: Outsourcing
The middle class is alive and well, I still don't get the war cry from the libs that it's only rich and poor left. Pretty much everybody I know would be considered middle class, and looking at the houses still being built all over the twin cities, it seems that more are coming here as well. I suppose some will actually believe the media's class warfare farce, but if you actually look around, I think you'll see you're being scammed.
And for outsourcing, it's just going to happen as long as people are demanding more for their money, it's a natural evolution. Plus, with the unions still over-inflating wages even in a recession, while at the same time reducing productivity, employers have to either find a cheaper solution, or close the doors. Add to that the highest corporate tax in the world, and you see why businesses are leaving MN for states with less corporate tax, and larger companies leaving the US for cheaper labor and overhead. I'm not for outsourcing, but sometimes you have to adapt in the business world to stay in business and get ahead.

Re: Outsourcing
Tom doesn't understand that if businesses are no longer profitable, they'll shut their doors and then nobody will have a job. Unless of course the government pumps money into them like our incredibly inefficient auto industry.

Re: Outsourcing
The thing i find funny is that the Nutjob right wingers, want to get rid of illegal immegrants, partly because they take up american jobs, yet, are for off shoring positions. So... what are you guys for? Taking away american jobs, or giving them back. Well most illegal (and legal for that matter) immegrants and migrant workers end up taking crappy minimum wage jobs, yet, most jobs that get off shored are higher paying jobs. So one can come to the conclusion that the conservative right want americans to take crappy jobs and give the good jobs like in manufacturing to the chinese.
Or maybe it is because they want to save corperations money. well then why not just give illegal (or legal) immegrants those jobs they were going to outsource, at half of what they would have paid a citizen, but within our borders? LOL.
Outsourcing and Immegration are often times brought up as two completely seperate issues, but these are actually very similar and connected.

Look at what jobs get outsourced to overseas:
IT: Tech support, Web Development, Software Development etc.
Manufactureing: GM Employees get anywhere between 14 and 28 per hour.
Now look at what the immigrants usually take as jobs:
Farms: Field Workers.
Service industry: Janitors, Maids, Cooks, etc.
Now compare these two industries and wages if they were all here in the US. Yeah this is what i mean.
