new dyno graph
Had some issues with my car last Sept and ended up with a new 2.3L from MAP. After donig the break in on it, was able to get it on the rollers at DB for some tuning Tuesday. Here is the result of a 2.3 and a 16g.

Re: new dyno graph
Wow, that's some good power for a 16g! Too bad you can't get it to hold out a little better on the top end. I'm assuming this is an evo3 16g?

Re: new dyno graph
Nice! What is your full mod list? The car must be a riot to drive, 16g ftw!
IMHO anything you do to try and increase top-end will prolly sacrifice bottom-end so choose future mods wisely

Re: new dyno graph
I would say future mod list should include a bigger snail!!
And Yes, this car rips schiedes, I got to drive it back to St. Cloud for him after getting tuned. Lets just say it makes me want a 2g even more now.

I don't think it's the fact of being a 2g, but rather that feel of boost/power that got ya wanting it. 1g's also can make power ya know..

^Truf.
Looks fun but a 20G/fiddy trim would be perfect IMHO.

Ya, but then there is the look of the 2g, and the 1,000,000% better feeling shifter compared to a 1g. I think they just feel better to drive, idk

Ha, full spool is as soon as you put your foot more than half throttle !
I would say on the street, full spool would be more towards 3k.

Re: new dyno graph
Thanks for all the kind comments. Its real fun on the street, but I was kinda hoping it would have made a lil more power up top. Sure is spool happy!! I really want to get the car on the auto-x or road course. That is what my plan was with this setup. Maybe someday slap on a big snail and see how it holds up. For now, I'm just gonna drive it and enjoy it. Maybe see some of you at BIR road course.
power mods:
Map 2.3 w/1g head
Comp 101200 cams
magnus intake
fmic
880's on E85
Evo 16g at 28-29psi

It doesn't make more power with more boost.

Cool. Thanks small turbo must feel like a supercharger with the 2.3 spooling it.
