I can remember that as well, hughes and CVD were the big dogs that I knew of, there weren't really any 600hp dsm's around here.

I remember before there was DSMstyle and mn-dsm was the local chapter of Club DSM. CVD and Hughes weren't even driving yet

Re: The O.G. members thread.
Yeah, you are now. You weren't around back in '94 when I got into DSM's though. Old man Hill is the only one on here that might have been around longer than me. I got my first DSM in Dec of '94, when did you get yours Steve?

So 16gs were the shit back then thats right. And if you had a 20g you were even better. Even how about the FP Green and Red Turbos. And the Frankin' ones too?

Re: The O.G. members thread.
I got my first back in 98. But ya, definately newer than many of the others around here. I didn't live in MN for most of my time, so I didn't really come across the MN boards until much later, around 2003 I think. I was more friends with some of the SD-DSM guys since I lived out in those parts, and I do miss the late night 3 hour drives to RRE for emergency parts. But the guys out here, are much better company then they ever were!

Holy Shit!!! I still have the old Club-DSM business cards laying around here somewhere. I wasn't into the club until 2001 when I finally bought my mother's 93 from her, but she did buy it brand new if that counts for something. And said she never had it going faster than 125mph!!
I still remember a certain person whose name was Ogie!! I know there are plenty of others that remember his blue (kinda purple) turnsignals too!! Reid should at least.

Re: The O.G. members thread.
I bought my DSM('91 AWD) in June of '93, and it had 9k miles on it at the time. The whole group of hardcore(relative to the times) guys I used to hang with are all gone, the only remaining from back then are Steve and later Shane.

Re: The O.G. members thread.
I remember when I had my 16g, 3" turbo back exhaust, 550's and a 5 knob AFC. That was pretty ballin' back in the mid 90's! Kris Ali was one of the more hard core guys back then.
