Re: 2011 Fall Dyno Day - September 24th @ Modern Automotive Performance
Was on the fence for signing up, now out. Looking at the car budget, I'd rather spend the $55 getting baselines at the track next week.
I may still roll up to watch, grab a burger, and maybe pick up some white mitsustyle stickers

I might need E98, I was able to get 3 gallons from work, so if anyone has some I will pick up 5 gallons or something.

Re: 2011 Fall Dyno Day - September 24th @ Modern Automotive Performance
I'll try and come by tomorrow...sounds like a lot of fun. Have to see what's planned though...
NOT registering though - if they let me do it there'd still be lots of danger from shrapnel when my 24 year old tires went. And all for what...maybe 180 hp if I fill up on premium!

Re: 2011 Fall Dyno Day - September 24th @ Modern Automotive Performance
Last minute? It's understandable if you have plans, but calling something announced three weeks ago last-minute is a bit of an exaggeration. I for one appreciate the efforts of Scheides, Goodhart, and everyone else who puts time and money into putting club events together. It really is a thankless job.

Re: 2011 Fall Dyno Day - September 24th @ Modern Automotive Performance
Had a great time as usual, and it was awesome seeing people from the forum again. I'll upload photos later, but here are the best two videos I took today on my new Sony HD cam.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl9y-8BhgDk
(Mark Leasure's dyno mishap!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQM6lhHxogg
(Scheide's car dyno'ing)
Oh, and the best photo of the day...
I snapped this on accident as Mark's wife walked into the frame.
"Hey girl, want to go grocery shopping?"

Yeah that was defiantly a surprise. To bad too, it was on it's way to make damn good power. Glad nothing was damaged and no one was hurt.

Re: 2011 Fall Dyno Day - September 24th @ Modern Automotive Performance
I had a blast again, thanks to everyone who helped make it possible, the weather was perfect too!
My 107k stock block did me proud today holding the 489whp and 442wtq at 29psi with my BBK-B
I did some tuning last night at 32psi to break the 500whp mark on the stock block. But decided i'd just play it safe and only run 29.
