Re: BBQ and Booze, 6/29, Blaine
Ya you can bring MD or whatever Brownman. I'll prolly be getting a small keg, and a bunch of burgers/brats. If anyone wants anything else, then you have to bring it!
And I am not sure what a drummy is. If you mean chicken, ya you can bring it, we'll cook it. But I'm not supplying it. If you want something other than burger/brat, just bring your own, and we'll gladly cook it up.

Re: BBQ and Booze, 6/29, Blaine
It will probably be Miller Light in the keg. Anyone else have any opinions on it?

If you're nice enough to provide it, you can pick what you want!

Re: BBQ and Booze, 6/29, Blaine
OK well I'll be ordering up an 8gal keg of Miller Light. Once that runs out, then everyone is kinda on their own. So I'd suggest still bringing your own shit for when the keg runs out.

Re: BBQ and Booze, 6/29, Blaine
So... a guy walks into work on Monday morning after having a week off. Get's in to work, and has emails stating that he's leaving to Florida on Wednesday.
No this is not a joke
But looks like I will be flying home on Friday, so once my boss finally walks in, I will update this and let everyone know. Because if I do fly home friday, then that still works out. Just means I'll be home a lil later so the party will just have to start a little bit later then I was hoping. Maybe like 8 or 9ish.

Re: BBQ and Booze, 6/29, Blaine
Just talked to the guy who's leading this all, and he said he really wants to be on a plane Friday morning. So we're both on the same page. If we do have to go into work on Friday for some kind of training, I should still be able to get on a flight out of there after work, and be home by 8 or so. If something goes completely shitty and I won't make it home on Friday, then I dunno what to do then But so far, it's looking like I should be home Friday! To all the christians out there, PRAY!!!!

Re: BBQ and Booze, 6/29, Blaine
I'm also going to talk to my buddy Derek who will be my roommate. If for some reason, everything fails, he will have a key to my house still, and he can set up for the party. So even if I'm gone, this party will still happen, and someone will just have to pour one out for me. It's my buddies b-day, and he deserves a party. I better be there, but if not, I'll be there in spirit and Derek will just be the host instead.
God I'm so angry right now though.

Re: BBQ and Booze, 6/29, Blaine
Dave my co-worker just told me again that we should be homeFriday. Worst case he is saying is that we come home Friday after class. But he said we should be home no matter what, on Friday. Plus I heard jet lag helps you get drunker, faster!

Re: BBQ and Booze, 6/29, Blaine
Just got to Florida today, and looked at our schedule. Looks like everything I need to do will all be done on Thursday. So 99% chance I'll be home tomorrow. If I'm not, my friend Jake will be setting it up, and the party will still take place.
See ya'll there!

Re: BBQ and Booze, 6/29, Blaine
OK so the guy that I'm working for in Florida here is a deuche. I made my flight for tomorrow anyway though, screw that fucker. The ONLY flight they told me was available was the one at 6pm. So that will have me landing at MSP at 8:22, and have me in Blaine just after 9.
My friends Jake and Derek are still going to be setting it all up though. Derek gets off work at 5. So they will be getting the keg and refilling the propane after he gets off. Hopefully things should be setup by like 6 or so. But I'd say to be safe, show up after 7, unless you're one of the few that are bringing anything and want to help set up before hand. If you're going to be showing up right at 7, or before, give Jake a call at 612 644-4241 to see where he is. Because I will be on a plane. See you all tomorrow!!!
