The one that was recently posted about on TCS I assume? Nitrous motor? Very impressive, I need to make it to one of these events sometime.

Probably. I don't go on TCS much. It went 10.2 with a 150 shot before, now it has a 300 shot and some other work done to it.

I would think doubling his N2o would yeild a 2 tenth faster time, if he can hook as good with more power etc. Good luck.

So what clutch is next if the Spec stage 5 didnt hold? I was looking on Spec's site and it says the torque capacity is good for 1100.

It should have held. The clutch will need to be pulled and some pics or the clutch sent to Spec.

Re: Oct. 7th

So who's going to RF tomorrow? I'm planning on going, just can't decide if I should drive something comfy and spectate, or take the hot rod and run some 13's or whatever it will do. A timing light, spark plug wrench and a screwdriver is all it takes to tune this thing. Ahh the good old days.

Re: Oct. 7th

Going to rock tommorrow. Gonna try to blow the motor tonight (j/k we are worried about the arp's not holding the power), if it holds, I'll drop the trans on saturday and go to the track on sunday.
God I love the end of the year rush.

I like cheese. I hate ARPs and their not holding power. I used to think they were the answer, to everything. 1+1=ARP's, you know. Now I'm old and wise, 2+2=chair.

Re: Oct. 7th

I went today. Boring. The import scene has died on the fun days apparently. There was one DSM, one really clean GVR4, one ratty Honda 4-door running mid 12's and a few other stockish cars. Lots of nice muscle cars but not too much that was faster than 11.99. There was a snowmobile running 9.4's, that was a sight to see.

Hi Steve- I knew I seen you there. I was there at the Rock today too, just spectating. I didn't see your car. I just saw the GVR4 and a red GSX from Mn. Saw about 3 240sx's. The Infiniti G35 was nice. My brother got to the semi finals in King of the Hill(real American muscle car). Another friend got to the semi's in the $ class. He got back $60. Did you see the newer Mustang from Mn that put it into the guard rail on the big end? The driver side was smashed pretty good. I don't know how he's gonna claim that one. I saw the red GSX do a best of 13.8. It has a GT35 in it. Don't know what was up with that.

The Ski-doo snowmobile was awesome. He built his own turbo kit for it. Bone stock motor and pipes. 780cc. Had a grand national hot side and a 57 trim compressor side, tial wastegate, custom intake setup. Awesome setup. I had pretty much everything with me today to race but I just didn't feel like it plus they didn't prep the track very well today. I plan on going for test day next Sat. as temps are dropping to 50deg.

I didn't have a camera with me. He's there all the time so if i go next weekend to the bracket race, i'll snap a few pics. I'm interested anyway since I have the same exact MachZ of my own. I think he said he was running 9# of boost.

Did you have that silver GSX sitting in the parking area? I heard a couple people why that car wasn't running. I split at about noon, I missed the carnage.

Hi Steve, Yep that was my silver GSX sitting in the parking area that I broke into the 11's with the prior weekend. It's the same car you saw last year when I met you at the end of the season. I think many people got 4 or 5 time trials. I was so tempted just to spend the extra $27 and enter it. I had the laptop and helmet with me. I guess I just wanted to take a break and enjoy the day without stress. Whenever I take my car I never have time to do anything but look at logs and make changes. I had the 19's on instead of the stock 17's on so that was partially another reason.

I picked up the synchomesh last night and i'm throwing it in tonight to see if it grinds going into 3rd. I'd like to go this weekend one last time.

Where was your car?

On the lift as usual. I was rolling the pearl RX330 about 10 cars down from yours.
