Re: Fancy Beer!
This to-go beer place is about to open near my house, 50 taps.
A new bar just opened down the street with 126 taps, and another 100 bottles.

Re: Fancy Beer!
Mark, any idea if there are some sours out there that would be worth trying to trade for in return for something Surly? Darkness or other...? War & Peace or Worthy Adversary? Since I have a couple of each yet...

I've often wondered the same thing. My guess is they're not tapping 16 gallon kegs and going with the smaller ones...which seems to be common for a lot of craft breweries to use anyway.

Yeah i would say the lower volume beers are probably 5 or 8 gallon kegs. And they should stay fresh on tap for a couple months, since they are fed C02 constantly.
But also a place like that probably moves beer at a decent pace. Places I've been around the cities that have a lot on tap keep some of the same ones constantly just new kegs... and the rotating stuff doesn't last long, especially if it is popular.

Some of the best is from TX jester king brewing. If chris would be willing to buy them and ship them up here that would also work and I would be down for some of them also

I've heard of that brewery, but never went looking for their beer. Is it available in the DFW area?

Re: Fancy Beer!
lost abbey has some good ass beers. I like judgement day, angle share, and 10 commandments. check out port brewing(lost abbey's sister brewery) too if you already haven't their older viscosity is awesome.
