You are lucky to just get a fine. I was hit for the no insurance thing twice in the same week and had my conquest towed out from under me...a f-cking block from my house...it took $1700 to get it back. Park your cars at friends houses till this is over...i mean in their garages too...not the street.

if he didnt have insurance, ne thing he gets is his fault. If i were you, i would pay the fine. No point in being disshonest for something you did intentionally. I saw a lot of hispanic ppl, and somolian ppl getting "tried" while i was there for my ticket.. the judge was doubling their fine, and letting them off the hook. If it was their first offense, it didnt even go on their record. But none the less, driving a car that can be pulled over and not having insurance is not smart. Just be sure to learn your lesson, there are other people on the streets as well as yourself. Good luck and i hope you get through it without hell.

Ive Dealt with this before, i left my new card at home and got a ticket for no proof of insurence, all i had to do is go to the window at the Apple Valley Courts and show that i had insurence. Seatbelt violations usually get dropped before it even goes to court.
Id say do that insurence thing that someone was posting about earlier, dont take kiels advice because he works for "Da Man" and hes looking for a pay raise so he wants all the money he can get.
i thought minnesota passed a new law about No insurence where they will take your car and give you really hefty fines. at least thats what the radio used to say.
as for flaming about the no insurence, Kougars right use another thread to flame him on he was asking for advice, ive asked for advice about tickets that have been really shitty on this site and you always have to have that one asshole thats not gonna help at all and is just trying to make a scene. Theres too much flaming on this site already so grab a beer and some skittles and shut the fuck up. ....mmmm skittles and beer, DOH im at work. but at least its friday and i have a 30 pack at home. WOO HOO.
