Re: What suv to get?
If you can find an SRT-8, that would be cool. Other than that and the newest body style, Jeeps are kinda cheapo feeling when you've got that much to spend.

I found this one its a little far but looks awesome!
The flex reminds me to much of an xB. I did get to drive an Edge and that thing had every option and it was brand new. I liked it alot but Im not spending that much.

Re: What suv to get?
Another vote for tahoe/denali. We have a denali XL also and the thing is pretty awesome. My wife daily drives it in to the cities and doesn't have any issues. Gas mileage isn't great, 15-16 but the tahoe or yukon is better as it has a little smaller engine and no AWD.
I know a guy that has a SRT8 and I wouldn't recommend that. The ride is very harsh, TB SS is much better for a daily driver.

Re: What suv to get?
Poll added. I do like the Denali, seems the most practical but it would be hard to pass up on the 8 or SS if they were all in the same 20-24k price range.
Jet with the SRT-8, was the ride his only complaint? Hows the reliablility?

Had a 2003 jeep grand cherokke V8, no problems for 3 years 16mpg average and plenty of hp and torqe over my dads 2002 tahoe, and never got stuck, but the jeep or trialblazer are alot smaller than the tahoes and yukons, ive had both. i would look into a Infinti FX35/45 or nissan murano, Drive soo smooth and 20 mpg with the 3.5(250-290) motor and there roomy. go drive one and text me and tell me what you think

Re: What suv to get?
I thought the Infiniti FX35 was a good choice when we were looking at SUVs but after a test drive, no thanks. I heard ahead of time that visibility wasn't that great, but wow it's pretty horrible.
I voted Denali, it's not too huge and they are nice. Trailblazer would be my 2nd choice.

Re: What suv to get?
We have an SS TB in that price range. Its red 2008 with only 45k miles for 23,999. I'll shoot you a PM with my number. Give me a call.
Edit: Shit, I just got a text back from my used car manager. It was already sold by a different store of ours. Sorry.

Re: What suv to get?
That's ok were looking at white black or charcoal.
I'm not sure why he said that about the nissans, but he said if I were to get one just don't buy a newer one 06+. My wife really likes the QX56 so that's when I was asking him about nissans.
I thought the TBSS would be your first choice as you already have a vette. Lol
Sidenote: I don't need pms as to what you have in stock. My uncle has a dealership so more than likely I'll buy through auction. Appreciate the help though I just don't wanna waste anyone's time.

I don't know if it makes any difference, I've got the 5.3 and selectable 2/4wd and I still get 16-17mpg, but the 5.3 makes plenty of power, I don't even know if I'd need the 6.0.

Re: What suv to get?
Im not sure whats the point of getting a SS or any other high hp suv, seems pointless to me. Keep the fun car high HP.
I would just get something thats reasonable, maybe a honda pilot or if you really need towing power a Tahoe on the high end.
Newer Nissan Pathfinders are pretty nice too and reliable.

Peter has a good point; seems like an easy way to drive up insurance and gas costs...unless you're set on the badass balla status or whatever.
How about one of the Mazda SUV's? I drove the turbo CX-7 and it was kinda fun as far as SUV's go.

Re: What suv to get?
How about a 2007 Rav4? My cousin bought an 2007 Rav4. They're not bad. Pretty much a "bigger" Camry. Quite roomy and power is just good enough to go. I don't think they'll do good at all with towing though haha. The 2010 4Runner is pretty cool but like any other SUV, blind spots suck but very very roomy.

Re: What suv to get?
Here's another idea: Kia Sorento
Sure, it doesn't come with the bling factor, but they're cheap, reliable, have a long-ass warranty, and they're honestly not too bad. I know a girl and a coworker of mine with them and they're surprisingly roomy inside with plenty of cargo space and decently equipped even base model.
