Something i wanted to do the last 2 years. I wanted to setup a triple challenge. Drag race, Auto-X, and Road course. using a formula (to create each event equal) multiplied by your times. This would be the ultimate driver/car challenge.

Can't make it next year I was really hoping to improve my road course times, I'll have to make it up for another event.

Road course will require any SNELL2005 and newer.

is there a diffrence between a motorcycle snell 2005, and a racing/automotive snell 2005, sorry for the noob question just kinda looking for a helmet i can get used on craigslist for cheap and there are some atv snell 2005 and motorcycle snell 2005 for 80 bucks

As long as its a SA/M/K 2005 or 2010.
If you plan on doing more motorsport events, I'd strongly recommend getting a good quality and good fitting helmet. You can get a new SA2010 for about $250 pretty easy.

Maybe Mitsu vs Subaru, so I can get out there with the 1G.

Any idea what the Mitsu to Subaru ratio was on the road course last year? I don't remember there being too many Subarus even there.

Considering that's all DSMs are really good for?

I hope they can set up road racing and drag, i'd like to do those.

I'm not against drag racing in any way shape or form, I just think that there's not much point in a street car that only goes fast in a straight line.

I don't claim to be fond of drag racing myself, but at the same time after the usual peer pressure I give in, make passes and have a great time, and spend the entire weekend trying to drop my times.

not against drag racing, but once you start experiencing lateral grip, you'll see what you're missing.

DSM's are just as good for road-racing as drag. just make sure you have a good running car, give it a different alignment, and maybe some fresh brake fluid with good pads, and you're set!

I will autox for sure this year again, last year it was the first time ever doing it and spaz only beat me out by under a secound. I'm gonna try and run in drag,road course, and autox

It's a good time, isn't it?

I'll have some suspension stuff done by then so we'll see how much the car improves over last year.
