im all about doing hiway pulls but the ? was what would be faster yeah awd off the line but car making the same power on the hiway the only differance would be awd/ fwd

If the fwd can hook i'd say fwd. usually its fwd on a roll unless its one of those magical EVOs then u usually didn't bring enough. lol (god i want one)

Anywho, I noticed as usual the people spreading their BS in this thread are people that haven't run anything substantial powered to even compare FWD and AWD.

I can't yeat but I do alot of reading and I know either has it's advantages. I'm guessing off a dig a RWD with huge tires would win, just counter weight the car. Drag racers use RWD for the most part or is that disinformation?

Problem with FWD is that on a launch or any decent amount of acceleration, you are pulling traction helping weight off of the tires that need traction. And then same tires that have turn have to put all of the power down also, if you ever drive a FWD car in the snow, then you know how well that works.

And yea, RWD wins for drag racing with real tires.
