1st Gen Talons have to be my favorite DSM's, epecially black. I got lucky and found one last summer from a guy in Iowa. He trailered it here and sold it ot me for 650$ with no motor or tranny. I finally decided its time for my 1990 Eclipse to go, its rusting, blew fourth gear in the tranny to the high heavens, and the motor only ad 90 psi across the board. Still made 380 hp and 400 lbs of torque at MAP with an Evo III 16g

I picked up a 2.4 liter 4g64 out of a 92 Dodge Colt Vista, at a junk yard north of Saint Cloud. Had the machine work done to it by John Gosh, great guy to work with, does great work, and is very helpful.
I am installing 8.8:1 Wiseco pistons, Eagle rods and ACL tri-metal bearings.
I installed the pistons and rods today. The wrist pin seemed kinda tight on the connecting rod bushing with the very first piston/rod I put together. It would slide back and fourth on the wrist pin, but seemed kinda tight. Im not gonna worry about it.
Threaded Mode
