Re: My Gst

Okay Okay everyone.. settle down.. How long have you owned a dsm? if this is your first one and some of that stuff was done to it before you bought it you need to do a few things first.. 1. DSMtuners.com VFAQ.. That's it. If you need something else to read i strongly suggest the dsmtuners.com upgrade Path. There seems to be alot that you can do to see power gains before you go ahead and strip the motor.. Check my noob post and take a look at my mod list. I'm not gonna bench race but on the stock t25 I felt considerably more power with those performance mods. Now i'm going to strap a HUGE FMIC and 50 trim turbo to the 7 bolt.(i have a 6 bolt waiting for a rebuild). If your gonna rip the engine just rebuild a 6 bolt and be worry free. Mod Smart and you can make power no problem..

Re: My Gst

You need fuel upgrades, not a built motor. Building the motor is probably riskier than running 18psi on a stock motor when you consider all the shit that can go wrong with a rebuild.

Re: My Gst

welcome. and I agree with everyone else: don't rebuild it if it's not broken! I did that with my engine and it took 3 years of trouble and 2 other engines to finally get it solved.

Re: My Gst

Another Dsm'r in STC... looks like I might have to get some more parts for my car now. Welcome, a few of us from the MNSC board will probably be meeting up by the south side of Lake George on Thursday night around 7ish. Hangout there for a bit bullshitting then head over to Old Chicago for cheap beer. I'll have my car out on Thursday so, look for the dark green 95.
