That figure has not been confirmed, but it is a strong rumor. They are McLaren F1 brakes. Always remember this, total replacement parts always cost 5-10 times more than the actual car itself.

Those wheels are fugly IMO. Get some SL65 rims or something and its a winner.

Was the owner in any one of those pics? or was this a dealership delivery that is going in the showroom?

Think of what they are doing to the air though. I'm sure they are functional

Re: M-b Slr

Hahaha....if someone could afford that kind of car, they wouldn't want to be seen on the side of the road trying to put on a spare tire. Although, that would be pretty damn funny...especially if they knew how. Plus, they'd probably get help like right away just because people wanna see the car.

Are you talking about the wheels on the MB, or the tires on that picture of the silver "prototype" car?

Still, ugly as hell.

You would think that the M-B engineers could figure out a set of wheels that was functional and didn't look like a fan blade.

Look at any other super high speed exotic. Enzo, nice looking wheels. Carerra GT, nice looking wheels. McLaren F1, decent looking wheels.

All cars that are in the same league as the McLaren SLR, and they have normal looking wheels, what gives?

He was not in the pics, but the owner of our dealership is the one who bought it. He loves his performance cars.

Re: M-b Slr

That is definitely a bad ass car. Why not an enclosed car trailer? It seems to me that some jealous fuck could have his way with it out in the open like that.

The trailer has sides, they just open up.

After I posted I was looking a little closer and noticed that.

What are the chances of you getting to drive it? Do you work at a Benz dealership?
