I don't usually get in on powerball, the odds are too tough to beat. I came out about even last year on my first trip to Vegas, and I'm going back there this summer armed with some more card counting abilities.
At my company christmas party this year we had in-house blackjack tables w/ funny-money. They were only using two or three decks of cards, and I counted cards the whole time. I turned $10k into $80k in about 2 hours!
This second Vegas trip, btw, is for my honeymoon. I'm getting married in July and asked Anna where she wanted to go for our honeymoon. I offered several places in mexico, fiji, etc. She just looked at me with puppy dog eyes and said, 'can we please just go back to vegas?' ....yea, I'm in love...
