bare hands ? it would be pretty hard to controll a lion

even tho you do have 40 people there, you can only fit so many hands on a small area, and if you want to apply force on it even less hands.

Nature designed a lion very well, small limbs and very powerfull jaws along with sharp claws on the limbs, a neck that no way anyone would be able to pull and hold on to as long as Lions mouth was not full.

Your best way to subdue a lion bare handed would be to stuff something into his mouth so that he can't bite back, be it shoes into the shirt and wrapped and tied into a bundle and then successfully acomplishing the task of stuffing it into his mouth and keeping it there! Especially since lions favorite possition is on his back when he is fighting and that is to protect his back and keep the sharp claws towards his enemy.


even at 40 grown men, it will be a really really huge challenge, and a task that would not be attainable without sacrificing lives = not worth the attempt.
