There are many other advantages to building a bottom end. Not just the fact that it can handle an X amount of HP. You can make it safer to rev, larger bore, obviously strength capacity. My .02 would be to get all of the mods you need to hit 500+ whp, then build your engine in such a way that it would help fit your specific needs. Mike ( at QPR, raptor) can give you quality top notch work for completitve pricing. Even though I dont PLAN to break 500 WHP, Im still going to get my block built because I will likely always want more.
