AC? I defrost with the heat. As long as you got fresh air coming in the air movement takes care of the moisture.

An almost direct quote from the owner's manual, "Dehumidifying (cars with A/C) Press the air conditioner switch and set the air selection knob to fresh air. Set mode selection to defrost or defrost and floor. Adjust temperature control knob to desired level."

I took my A/C out as well and I have noticed a few more minutes of dehumidifying, but like was said before, just crack a window slightly and it will do the trick. But you have to have the air selection knob to "fresh air" otherwise it's pointless.

I was in disbelief of this before when someone told me this. I had to go to the owner's manual to find out a couple of years ago. When I had A/C I used to use this feature ALL the time. Especially when it was raining out.

As far as defrosting, I don't think you will have any problems with it. It does help a little but a warmed up engine and defrosters on high work just as well.
