And about you blowing past him at a stoplight - I dont know how fast your car is, but an '03 cobra has a hell of a lot more potential than a dsm. Spend $4000 and you have 650whp. Geting that much power out of a dsm would cost well over $10,000 in mods requiring an all new short block, new tranny, etc. I know Chris Carey just put about $11,000 into his motor alone and is
hoping to get 550whp. Plus, the cobra will pull waaaay better 60's with the right tires and minimal suspension mods than your average awd dsm.
I'm not dogging dsms, just pointing out that the newer cobras are p.i.m.p. They are a much better platform to build on than your car or my car.
