This is exactly why we always recommend booking early, yet every cruise we run into the exact same problem over and over again. It is too late to move hotels. I stress the fact every time, booking a hotel room doesn't cost you a dime until check-in unless you opt for a pre-paid room. When will people learn?
Book a room at a nearby hotel and cancel it if you find some floor space in the main hotel (which generally never seems to be a problem since half the people don't even make it back to their own rooms once the drinking starts).
