I think I am out then. I'll never make it 225 miles and I am not goin to drive around with a ton of fuel in the trunk.

Thanks for putting in the extra work to get the route altered!

225 should be easy enough. I usually get 200 miles out of my tank, but even if some one averages 15mpg they should be able to make it 225 miles on a full tank plus 5 gallons.

Correct, 225 miles isn't too excessive and any decently tuned car can make that with a full tank + 5 gallons. This is something people need to be aware of when converting to E85...another reason why dual-tunes and map-switching are so important to have. There is no reason not to at least have an emergency pump gas map just in case; you never know when a station may close or run out.
