You will have to install new drivers into the new computer. but other than that it should be fine.

Yes, this is true. However, I would recommend uninstalling drivers first, before installing new ones. Once in a while if you don't do that the computer gets confused. Win 7 is pretty good about knowing the difference, but with XP I would recommend doing it.

You will maybe have to set your hard drive up in the bios as well.
