Can you quick quote my post and highlight where I SPECIFICALLY said "You may not drive your car."? Oh wait...
My reasoning would be as follows: We live in Minnesota. It is winter. This car is a rare color. It has less than 50,000 miles on it. There are a lot of idiot drivers on the streets. Winter = ice, ice + roads = sliding.
Even if the person who rear-ended you did not slide on ice, sliding would have been on my mind.
(My GS-T is in storage with 160k miles. My TSi AWD is in storage with 118k. It has seen the winter twice this year. Both times were with little snow.)

A new Corvette is far from rare. Mint? Meh'. Its new so, yeah... But a 1994 with less than even 30k on the clock? No...
