Its about trap speed, not ETs. Most texas mile competitors dont do drag launches.

you would think you would get more mph out of it if you launched it a little harder.. get that turbo spooled sooner is going to make you go threw the gears quicker and get more top end so you arent spending as much time getting up there. i dont see why you wouldnt get more speed from launching it. at any rate bad ass car

He ran out of gear anyways. About half way through he just cruised in 5th gear for a good 5-6 seconds, then got into it again through the traps.
