Honda ECU in a DSM?

Has anyone seen this? They used a chipped a Honduh either p72 or p28 to run on a DSM..... I don't honestly know how to feel about this one....

Re: Honda Powered DSM?

Makes absolutely no sense when the DSM ECU has been cracked and Link is almost as good as a full standalone unit, and in some ways is even better. I've definitely thought of wiring up a DSM ECU in my Lotus, where all there is for tuning is an upgraded chip with no user interface. In these applications where there is no available software, a Hondata or DSMlink would be perfect.

Re: Honda Powered DSM?

The Honda ECU is used in other kinds of cars that don't have any good tuning options, but it's stupid to run it in a DSM. You can do speed density with and without DSMLink on the factory ECU or swap in an EVO ECU. All of which are better ECUs with more useful mods for them and real knock control that works.
