^ This coming from a guy who just spent $10k swapping a Subaru, those are words worth their weight in... anything really fucking light and really fucking expensive.

lol im pretty sure a stock vr4 engine in a 97-99 gsx would be faster than the stock 4g63 that would come in it!!

You do realize that there are LOCAL cars making 600-700-800-1000whp on a 4G63 right?

The point is why try and reinvent the wheel? If you have the know-how and expertise to do this then I am all in for pics and a project thread, but realistically you can do so much with the 4G63 w/o doing a crazy swap it makes the idea seem laughable (thus some of the responses in this thread).

Besides, enough stuff breaks on these cars as it is!

oh yea i totally get that but the vr4 comes with 320hp stock and i could put not to much money into it to make it 400-500hp and i would be good right there i would need alot of money into the 4g63 to make it push 400-500 dont u agree on that?
