I do agree though; zero negative effects. Worse case scenario, we just put the pill back in for you, but I've NEVER heard of anyone wanting to do that. My stock IX clutch actually started slipping during hard downshifts so that's when I removed the pill; I then put another 15k miles (including autocross) on the clutch without it slipping even a single time.

Well being one of those guys that is reluctant to do it, I think you pretty much have your answer in what I said above. I don't see a problem with it as it is. It sounds like this is one of those life lessons you'll learn once it happens to you with a big fat "I told you so!" at the end of the story, lol.
It could also be a few other things, such as "Well Mitsu must have put it there for a reason" or "I don't understand how the whole thing works, so if it's not broken, don't fix it". I think I fall in the latter of those 2 statements.
