I'm very thankful toward Shane and scheides for the time on Saturday to isolate the fuel system problems. I don't know everyone by name yet but thanks for your help!
We tried quite a few things: running as a single pump, swapping fuel pump relays, the fpr from scheides' car, and checking electrical connections.
When we unwrapped the wiring for connecting the pumps to the car, we discovered that the connections didn't look very sound and it didn't take much wiggling to break the ground wires off. We ended up jumpering the pump grounds over the car-side plug and once we did so, the fuel pressure stabilized.
We still had lean conditions/misfires despite the good fuel pressure so we knew we had another problem. We siphoned 3 gallons of E85 from another car and dumped it into mine...turns out that the suction line on the Full Blown hanger was not getting fuel from the other side of the tank. It'd drain the side that the pump was on and run out of fuel.
Full Blown gave me a suggestion for correcting the suction line (see the previous two posts) so I've done that. I've also hooked up the BlaqOPs secondary pump again. Hopefully we're good to go now. I'm planning to run a 5gal can of E85 up to DB today...too bad there isn't a station in Rogers.
In the end we got one good pull in. As scheides mentioned, Shane pulled it around 6800 at 418hp since it ran out of single pump. My redline will be 9k when we're done so she has some more power to make.
