I'm planning to use Ron for some installs (suspension and probably the BBK when I'm ready for it). His shop is a lot more convenient for me than arranging to drop the car off in the NW part of town.
I've heard good things about Ron's tuning from a local X owner, who wasn't happy with another shop's tune. |

Or you could just come to my house on a saturday and get it done for beer/lunch 
Ron@RS is a competent tuner, I didn't mean to say he was aweful or anything. I've been going to shane for years and people that go elsewhere seem to usually ending up at DB sooner or later after having various experiences elsewhere.
MAP has a good tuner too, Kasey. Good guy, but I still choose shane |

Thanks Scheides. Coilover & a turbo install probably wouldn't be too bad. The roll center kit and alignments are things I wouldn't even know where to begin with, which is why I was going to bring it to someone.
The Robispec KW's have been sitting in a box for a few months. I'm going to throw the rear antisway bar on next weekend--only took Perrin three tries to get me the right one. |

Go to DB. Iam going there this spring for a tune. I have never gone there before. But my buddy chalie use to race with him down on red rock.

To make along story short. My timing belt tensioner was bad and I didn't know that. I was having some fun and the timing jumped and I bent two intake valves. So I had two new ones put in but I doubt think that place that did the work did the three angle valve job on them to mach the other ones. Me and shane were thinking that there might still be some bent valves or a bad valves guide. Because there was some oil on the number one cylinder and the other three cylinder look good.
The car run's way better then what it did. It put down 330 to the wheels. Shane was telling me that it STILL A 130 to 150 hp off of what it should be with my set up. It just stop making power even with more boost so that's why we think it the head I am going to do a leak down test and a boost leak test to see what the deal is when I get it back.
I plan on going to db performance from now on. Shane know his shit and he a very good guy.

Sorry for the bad news but let me tell you man I have been there! About 10 months ago I went through the same thing, my car was down 60whp and ultimately I'm not even sure what fixed it aside from a new FMIC 
I'm sure shane went over this with you, but boost leak, compression, and leakdown tests, then go from there. |
