We usually get them in about like 80% of the way as in like in PLACE where you can start putting the bolts back in. It's like the casing just wants to rub against the pressure plate and it doesn't wanna get in that last little bit. Ive helped guide like 20 trannys on and ive never had a problem with them not going on all the way, I dont see how you dont think you can do it on jackstands in the driveway, haha.
