Did they change the axle size between 90 and 91? My car use to have a non turbo trans in it even though my car was originally a turbo car. When I swapped to the turbo trans I have now, my axles carried over.

I think it was half way through the 1g production they put bigger axles in the fwd.

THE 93-94 FWD's had bigger spline shafts going into the tranny so you have to buy upgraded ones, or an OEM one. You wont be able to even get the axle at Advance or Auto Zone because all they have is the small spline ones (90-92), i know this because i used to work there..lol. So either DSS or OEM.

I found that over on Tooners.
