Re: Need Pro EZ-Outer

When I worked at a shop I saw a guy weld on a nut and then use a ratchet on that. Worked like a charm.

Welding seems like a good option. If you need to you could use our mig.

Using 2 nuts works just as well if there is room. Tighten the two together and start backing out the inside nut (closer to the head). Since it doesn't have anywhere to go, it will turn the whole stud. I would try to drill it so you can remove the manifold and try this way if there is room. The vise grip method is a pain on your hands and might be harder to do with such a short stud.

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.

Yea but you cannot use 2 nuts to fix this fiasco. Could weld a nut onto the mess and try backing it out.

I would do this, but........... there's no threads left if you look at the picture. there's on flat chunk/head of metal over the hole. My only options(imo) are to drill/easy out or shave it down somehow..........somehow.

I was thinking you might just have enough room to do that when you get the manifold off. I think I would try to cut it off with a cutt off wheel or grinder if it is possible to fit one in there.
