Official Call-Out to CURT!!!
I'm publicly calling out Curt G. to attend the Fall Cruise! You spend a lot of time organizing and hyping up the Cookout, now its time you come see those cars in attendance flying down the highway getting bugs smashed all over them! Pack up the wife and join the group for a fun weekend to let loose and have fun

Re: Official Call-Out to CURT!!!
LOL. I probably would if it was a one day event. Maybe I could do the cruise and just head home afterward.
I'm not a big fan of driving crazy in a big group. And I certainly don't "party" like you guys. I'm an old stick in the mud.
I would like to hear about the cruise route you have planned. Are you going on the alphabet roads along the river in Wisconsin? Those are fun!!
later,
Curt

Re: Official Call-Out to CURT!!!
You're more than welcome to head home from Chippewa Falls when we go to the hotel if you so desire. The cruises are really great for everyone b/c they include all types of drivers. The people who want to drive fast and "test and compare" do so at the front of the pack, while the slower sight-seekers stick towards the back, with every type in between also accommodated. We never ask anyone to drive beyond their comfort zone which is why we have frequent meeting points to make sure we stay in a group just in case someone gets too far ahead/behind. The cruises are all about FUN and thats pretty much it

Re: Official Call-Out to CURT!!!
Oh c'mon, we check into the hotel when we get there, chill for a bit, then everyone gets dinner together. We go to some bars or just hang out at the hotel and have a few drinks, then spaz passes out sitting up while we discuss why girls are awesome/suck. Whenever you get bored/tired/wanna chill, you head to your room! It's a great setup, I think Janelle went to bed around 7pm last time (not feeling well) and others of us stayed up until...at LEAST 9:30pm.
You're not afraid of hotels or anything, are you?

Good point. I usually have the wife in the car with me who is extremely sensitive to getting car sick. Once in a while we'll fool around with other cars, but on these cruises where it's all b-roads its more likely that we all cruise in a line rocking very near the speed limit and avoiding trouble. Some 'scouts' near the front may bomb a head because they are foolish/crazy, but that just clears the animals out of the road for the rest of us

LOL!! I feel accomplished.
But seriously Curt, it's a blast, whether you drink or not. I had a ton of fun last fall on only a couple beers. And as stated, we don't all drive "crazy" (just some of us), and none of us outside of our comfort zone.

Re: Official Call-Out to CURT!!!
Yeah, it is fun and these guys do a great job of organizing it. Last year we went twice and took the kids. We might have even hit some triple digits speeds in an SUV along the way.

Re: Official Call-Out to CURT!!!
You really should come, it's everything it's cracked up to be. After the first one I was pretty hooked, and weather I had my car or not, or had to work until 6am the night before I've made everyone since my first. ( I think )

Re: Official Call-Out to CURT!!!
This is quite the "call out". I'll leave that weekend open and we'll see how things are going. Looks like there is some great support for this event.
later,
Curt
