Turbo two strokers can make a decent amount of power, they are just a pain in the ass to set up.
As far as using a DSM to tow a boat, I think the boat in the pic would be a little too heavy for me to feel comfortable with. I used a '93 Celica to tow my jetski and it worked just fine.
