Wow, I wasn't by any means saying a built head is going to add power... First of all I didn't know it had a 1g head on it let alone a 6 bolt block.

I guess it is a difference of opinions, I just rather spend money on that head and wait a few months to save up for the link. Sooner or later you are going to want to rev it out to 8500+ rpms and you could easily do that with the head listed above.

I mean honestly is Link going to add THAT much POWER over a SAFC, probably not a whole lot...

Yes it is. Definitely a better investment at his level to get Link, then a built head.

Like everyone else said. I personally would get Link right away. It's a great investment. If you've never used it, you have no idea what you're missing out on.

After link I'd look at saving up some money and finding a set of decent used cams.

I personally would not downgrade your injectors. I'd keep the ones you have, or go larger in case you ever want to go E85.
