Re: ds Map

Right now they are at RC1 for DSMAP, (RC1 means release candidate 1) They are not currently SELLING the products. Yes, the website is not clean, I am sure that they will make it look pretty when they are ready to go commercial.

Right now DSMAP V1 is free, if you ask nicely, you can get RC1 for free if you become a beta tester.

People have been using the free version of the software since 2005, its very nice, nobody seems to have anything bad to say about it, native wideband/MAP sensors FTMFW

Its called innovation, if you dont like it fine, but don't call BS on a community of people with years of positive results, and its important that people know that there is an option to LINK, which is also fine, but I hate my MAS sensor, no room in the DSM for it

Re: ds Map

Well if any one would like to see a live running example of ds-map, you can take a look at my car. It is living proof!! I do have quite a bit of messing around with it but it is looking positive for right now.

I was responding to the post that it blows away DSMlink, which I don't believe, hence the BS comment. I'm all for something new, but I've been around these cars for a long time, I've seen a lot of fuel controllers, and I've seen a few garage shops come up with something that kinda works if you want to take a lot of chances. Kinda like when the AEM first came out and it had a ton of problems. I tend to like the tried and true and let other people beta test shit and blow motors.

I do like the speed density a lot though. Coming from a VPC and then an AEM, putting a MAS on my car for the first time was not fun, and I still hate it. But being to jump in at any outside temp and have it run right makes it worth it. Also being that Tom and Dave have been working and testing their products long before they release them to the public made me a believer.
