So to make a long story short. I had to work last night for 12am till 10am thats my normal shift, four ten hours days. Anyway we had to put in this really cool progressive bank of machines last night at the casino I work at (Treasure Island). Well it was a really bitch putting them in so I had to work until 11:30am. I was tired as hell and was driving home (it was pooring fucking rain by the way). I was in a hurry to get home so I didn't fall asleep at the wheel. I went to pass this van since they were only going like 60 in a 55. And I here this pop. WTF I said to myself. This is not the day to be doing this to me. The car instantly had no power and would build no boost. But it would keep running. I pulled over and popped the hood and could see nothing immediatley. I check the intake and the upper intercooler pipe, they were ok. I was sitting there thinking of what it could be and I instantly remember when Nash and I were coming back from the Shootout and Cher decided to rev at Nash when his intercooler had a god damn hole in it. He probably should have just let it go, but in his mind and I thought it too, well Nash's car is way faster so even with 5lbs of boost he could still beat him. Well it hit like 7lbs or so and the gooop that he put on the intercooler popped off. And the car instantly fell on it is face. So there we were on a highway in the middle of Chicago.

Thinking of that made me instantly check the lower intercooler pipes and the intercooler itself. Sure enough the lower intercooler pipe blew off. The clamp was gone so I was like what the fuck am I going to do. Well luckily I had so wire ties that fell out of my pocket after work one day. I wire tied that bitch on my back in a puddle in the middle of the highway.

And I just limped it home trying not to build hardly any boost, which if you have ever had a T25 it is almost impossible but I did it luckily.

The point of this meaningless story is always have fucking wire ties when you own a DSM.
Amen

Yeah, I always have zip ties in the car with me. I have them in case that I will blow a vaccum line off or something. Nice to hear you made it home alright though.

Other than the bolts on the hood the whole front end of my car is held on by zips.
