Re: 2008 MitsuStyle Fall Dyno Day - Sept 27th @ MAP

My wife was really surprised when hers put down 555awhp and then 563awhp. She didn't expect such a difference. We were seeing around 15-17% difference. It's seems like around 15% from DD numbers is a decent guesstimate. MAP was also using SAE numbers too, compared to the higher older STD correction that a lot of the big Evo and Supra shops like to use to make the numbers look higher. Simply going from SAE to STD could be 10whp on a 400whp car.

Did the Evo guys dyno in 3rd of 4th gear? That single radial fan doesn't move much air to the intercooler compared to carpet dryer/squirrel cage style fans aimed right at it, which might have effected some cars more than others.

Steve's car has 600 DJ awhp in it without too much problem, my wife's on the other hand needs some more parts to get to that I think. Getting close to 600awhp on factory internals with a car that is driven everyday is a little scary though. It is funny the power that people are making on their everyday tunes though compared to a few years ago when this was all C16 territory.
