I'd say you'd be fine with 250* for about 10 minutes. Thats what I did my S2k headlights at. A few rounds of that, plus some wet-sanding, and they'll look great. Do not put the lamps directly on the racks though, I'd recomend an Air-Bake pan for a little extra "cushion" from the heat/racks.

thats what i did on one of my tailights, it softened the hell out of the plastic. enough to get rid of that nice line that comes out on them to match to body lines of the trunk. dammit.
