With all due respect to those in this thread, I am continually amazed at why people purchase riding lawn mowers from stores like Lowes, Home Depot, etc. The mowers which end up at those stores are cheapened up versions of what the traditional lawn and garden stores carry. Plus, where do you go for service? There is a reason why you don't see Snapper lawn mowers at chain stores.

On another note, if you want to make your hydrostatic-drive lawn mower go faster without adjusting the engine governor, shim the spring on the relief valve.
