Take off the end cover, there are 2 36?mm nuts. Those are suspose to be tightened and then "dented" so they don't back off.

Just curious what your "rebuild" consisted of? Also, was it a fresh rebuild or was it a used tranny that had been rebuilt at one time?

I googled mitsubishi graveyard and didnt see anything on their site regarding rebuilding services.

This tranny was on there ebay store they say they take them apart and replace any worn parts gaskets, seals, bearings, gears, syncros and such. You can tell its been apart it has liquid gasket maker for the case seals, and the drive shaft seals are new.

Well i did what you said i tightend the two bolts, they were loose alittle the middle one more than any, but there was no difference still no 5th just grinds and reverse is still locked out. Any ideas?
