Because the turbo is so laggy... The RPM's are low, so it falls below spool between shifts, there for have to respool the turbo in every gear, and evo's gearing is quite short. Gauranteed he'd be in 5th passing the trap's at anything over 125+mph.


Its something like my car... If I dont NLTS, I have to respool the turbo in every gear, getting full boost around 7k. I have a vid I'm trying to get on the net that I will post up when I can. It looks pathetic. I rolled of the line, lifted to shift, ran a 13.7 @ 115. Its a worthless street car, but still holds its own. If I had a 2.3-2.4 in it, the car would blow balls in my opinion. I like to rev the piss out of it, thats the only reason I havent gone that route yet. Although when I do NLTS, I loose maybe 2psi of boost. So with a new clutch and possibly some new tires... 10's here I come. I cant even NLTS at 20psi or my clutch is toast. Thats basically the whole reason I didnt race today.
