XBOX 360 not up the hype?

A little off topic, but interesting anyway:
My 14-yr old brother waited in line overnight at Best Buy to get one that he was going to sell on eBay. When he got in line and was offered the Extended Warranty, he said "I don't need it, I'll be selling it on eBay right away anyway." The manager on duty had a fucking spaz and yelled at everyone else in line that they were losing money on these systems, and everyone NEEDED to buy something else. Needless to say, the AV Best Buy is coming to terms with that now legally with my parents. What a dumbass.

Did Best Buy sell to him? My current manager at Sprint used to be a BB manager, and overheard some kids talking about selling a PS2 on eBay (this was the first day of release) and took the PS2 away from him. "We don't sell to dealers."

I think that is legal. Something about having the right to refuse to sell to any person, and limit quantities.

But I think forcing them to buy additional stuff qualifies as a bait and switch because to get a $400 xbox360, you have to buy $500 worth of stuff.
