There's no upgrade for them unless you do a custom driveshaft with only one carrier bearing. You can either do the old window-weld fix from the old skool days. Or replace both of them with new ones, which is a pain in the ass. You have to completely tear down the driveshaft to put them on there. Time consuming, but will solve your problems for a good ten years. I've got an extra 1G driveshaft with pretty good carrier bearings if you're interested, would also work good for an extra so your downtime is short. Don't forget to mark the alignment of each piece in relation to each other if you rebuild, they're balanced as an assembly from the factory.
