So anyone rerally care Hockey is gone for the year?

Just wondering how many Die Hards out there are missing the NHL or are you content with College. ALso what do some of you guys who are into Hockey think about some of the changes ESPN thinks should happen. Like stopping the fighting, getting rid of the lines and thus no iceing calls, widen the goal area for more scores and get rid of ties.

Couldn't care less. Hockey was like watching boring golf and tennis games.

Re: So anyone rerally care Hockey is gone for the year?

Im just wondering what happens to the 40+ million that each team would get in income? Im guessing that is all generated from profits during games. I dont se how games can make that much money and why the damn players dont just take the 42 million they were offered.... no they can do that they want their damn 46 million. Its BS. And thats why I hate pro sports

Well I think that collage hockey is alot better then the NHL, just because the play harder and enjoy the game better then the pros who don't care about the game until tehy get to the playoffs anyways as far as the fighing and the icing calls. Fighting is good and the iceing is just like Off side calls in Football :/ but hey their just rules. As far as the net thing goes: now it is Really hard to cover a net even that small. Trust me it sucks. but fun

Another note: The Excel center is having a pretty hard time coping with the loss of one of their major sources of revenu. They have been taking alot of other buisness to compensate, like collage games and such

I think it sucks, they shouldn't change the rules at all. that would be like making a football field 90 yards long cause its 'easier' or moving the fences in 100 feet in baseball.
I also think the nhl players should take a big spoonful of STFU and take the damm contract.

Mullet's cost a lot to maintain, they need more money for the upkeep. It's simple Mullonomics.
