FedEx is totally fucking me over right now,

Last week i ordered my key for my lugnuts so i can shange my tire. they tried to deliver it on friday but no one was here to sign for it. so they leave a hanger on my door that says i can either pick it up or sign the hanger and they will leave the package. so monday comes around and i leave the hanger on the door signed so they will leave the package, i go to work, my roomate is awake so im thinking theres no way this package will not be on my doorstep..... i get home, no package, no hanger..... WHAT THE FUCK!!!!! i call fed ex and they say that i signed for the package at 9:45..... im like i didnt sign for shit. where the fuck is my package. then they say they will have the driver call me in the morning. meanwhile im driving my roomates car to work which pisses me off and is not ok with him either but he has no job so its alright.
I call them today 3 fucking times and everyone still thinks that i signed for it yesterday. the fucked up thing is that i had ordered a key on thursday and the company called back and said that the card didnt go through (it was my roomates card and i had put my name on the sale) so on friday i ordered another key with his card and his name, so basically i signed for both packages even though i wasnt home. FUCK FED EX.
my car is at the bottom of a hill outside of our parking lot just waiting to get broken into. FUCKING BULLSHIT

Yeah I won't deal with fedex, I have paid extra on several occasions just to get things shipped UPS.

Remember when ACRucrazy's intercooler got beat to shit traveling the continent?

Dangerous

I had to hunt down my cellphone that got shipped to me.

UPS or that new service, I say we get the new service to replace fedex.

I personally like FedEx a lot more than UPS...cheaper, faster, better condition upon arrival. These are just my experiences, keep in mind the whole world is not out to get me like it is for Tom

Everyone has shitty experiences with every shipping company... you truly can't win. So just suck it up or get a plane and start picking up/delivering stuff yourself. That's the only way to be sure it gets done right/quick.

Oh and Tom, why would someone break into your car? All the value is on the outside.

Someone was complaining about them on NABR. Overall they seem to perform a little better than the rest.

I guess the thing that makes me wonder is how can a company come from being a nobody to being a 'world leader in shipping.'

I must be lucky, I've had zero problems and nothing but excellent service from all shipping companies, and I get like 2-3 deliveries a week via UPS and FedEx.

I've used DHL a couple times now at work and haven't had any problems yet. I hate FedEx and don't really care for UPS either. Whenever I can I use the good ol' USPS, things seem to get where there going alot quicker.

Don't they count you signing the hanger as signing for the package? Are you sure it didn't get stolen?

We have had good luck with UPS, but they are all at times difficult to deal with for similar reasons. Either way, it doesn't matter who it is, Tom will have no luck with them because it is Tom.

I have used Fedex & UPS both at work and home and never had problems. I"ve signed the hanger thing too and they left the package.

Either you have a shady driver, or a neighbor stole it.

well i just called mcgard (key manufacturer) and they are gonna track the package and call me back, and hopefully send me a new key, its been around a week and a half since ive driven my car. and the thing is, if it was taken from my doorstep it would benefit absolutly no one, those keys are just for my wheels.. fucking duh.

That's not going to stop someone from taking it though. I had a $500+ clutch for my Stealth stolen when Airborne Express left it on the steps at my apartment (even though ALL other delivery services only deliver to the front office). I bet that thing ended up in the trash. I feel your pain.

I use nothing but the USPS. Everytime I tried some other company it took twice as long to get/recieve.

The post office offers the same things (warranty's, etc) as the other company's and I'm pretty sure it cost's less to.

i use DHL when I can.

i haven't had a single problem with them yet. Otherwise I use the Post Office.

tom should remember this

when we both worked at CompUSA, a Epson printer was shipped back via UPS. It The box looked like someone beat it with a wrench or something. Open the box and the printer is totally trashed, its cracked everywhere, the ink cartridge blew up and covered almost everything in a blue color.
The boxes coming from UPS were usually somewhat damaged, small scrapes, holes, dented corners from being dropped.

Fedex i've seen less of a problem with. But not many less.

DHL, I have seen ONE box damaged. Called DHL and they paid for the damaged part and we got a new one early the next morning.

It is who dell uses for shipping their parts. So i've probly gotten over 100 packages from them.
