I'm hoping some of you know of a few good vendors for fuel cells. I'm looking for one as small as 1 gallon if not even smaller. Some of the larger companies like Jegs and Summit have them but I'd perfer to check with a smaller company first for the sake of supporting the little guy first.

Thanks! :bounce:

The smallest your going to find might be a 1 gallon cell. They are often called nitrous enrichment cells. You put good gas in there to mix with your nitrous when you spray and normal shit gas in the main fuel tank. Not too many places make them though.

Re: Fuel Cell Sources

Well now that I'm finally getting around to this, JAZ Products makes fuel cells all the way down 1 quart. However, I'm having a hard time getting ahold of a representative from there so does anyone know of any other fuel cell manufactuers? The fuel cell is for our 1/4 Scale Pulling Tractor here at school. The requirements I am working around are as follows:

16.3 Fuel tanks must have a minimum opening of 1.25 inches (32 mm) diameter and be equipped with a vented, no-spill fuel cap that will prevent excessive fuel leakage when inverted.

16.4 A dedicated drain line, with quick and easy access, must be incorporated into the fuel system to allow draining of the fuel. The drain line must be accessible from outside the tractor, without the removal of shielding, and must drain to the ground without contacting any other tractor components.

16.6 Maximum fuel tank capacity shall be no larger than 3 quarts. (2.84 L).

The reason I'm pursuing a fuel cell versus your regular lawn & garden fuel tank is for the safety factor. Our tractor is gone through with a fine tooth comb via various parameters, one of which is safety.

Thanks!

Re: Fuel Cell Sources

Jake, I have a bunch of vendor catalogs at the shop and I'll take a peek in there when I go to work tomorrow. I do remember one of those catalogs was the JAZ company but I can take a peek at the others for you.
